Reservations

1. Please contact us by e-mail to confirm availability and rates. 2. Once your reservation is confirmed, we will send you a rental agreement via e-mail. Your reservation is not completely confirmed until the rental agreement is returned to us by the guest. 3. The price includes up to 10 guests. The villa is to be used by the maximum number of Guests listed on the contract only. 4. A 50% deposit is required within 7 days of the confirmed reservation. The remaining 50% of the payment is due 60 days prior to your arrival. We accept all payments through Venmo or via direct wire. An invoice will be sent for each payment. 5. If you are booking within 60 days of your check-in date, full payment is required.

Check in/Check out Check-in time is 3:00 pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. Exceptions for early check-ins or late check-outs are rarely possible due to the short availability of time to clean the home. We will contact you 2 weeks prior to your check-in day for your arrival details.

Refunds & Cancellations -With a notice of 2 months or more you will receive a full refund, minus $150 processing fee -With a notice of less than 2 months, no refund will be given -Bookings for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s & Easter Holiday weeks are subject to no refund regardless of time of cancellation -All cancellations must be made in writing

Guests are encouraged to purchase travelers insurance, especially when traveling during hurricane season, July-November. Our wonderful location puts us at risk for hurricanes and guests may need to be evacuated for their safety. We will not be responsible for airline changes, the cost of alternate accommodations or cancellation fees and no refunds/adjustments can be offered in any event.

Smoking – Smoking is not allowed inside the villa

Maintenance – Although every effort is made to maintain Villa Carolina in the best condition, wear and tear is unavoidable. Please notify the caretaker as soon as possible if a problem exists. Every effort will be made to rectify any issues in a timely manner. We strive to make your holiday hassle free. However, no refund or rate adjustment will be given for unforeseen circumstances.

Service Interruptions – We cannot promise that there will be no interruption for services we have no control over. These include, but are not limited to: electrical service, internet, and satellite television. We will make every effort to escalate any interrupted service issues so they can be restored as quickly as possible. No refund or rate adjustment will be given for unforeseen failures/interruptions of these services

Guest Responsibilities Treat the property like you would your own, with respect. No unregistered guests are allowed to stay in the Villa. Guests are responsible for the property, its contents and themselves and all other guests during occupancy. Further detailed explanations will be in the rental agreement you will receive after the confirmation of your reservation. Guests are advised that personal items lost or stolen are not the responsibility of the Owner or Agent. There are safes in each bedroom in the villa, and guests will be given a set of keys to lock the villa. Guests will therefore be solely responsible for locking of the home and the safekeeping of their personal valuables during their visit. Agent and Owner assume no responsibility for insuring that the residence is locked and secured during the period of occupation by Guests. In addition, Agent and Owner shall be held harmless from all claims or causes of actions arising from the rental and occupation of the residence by Guest.

TURTLE SANCTUARY Playa Paraiso is a Turtle Sanctuary and is governed by the rules of Quintana Roo. Please Follow these rules: Outdoor lights (except for orange lights) need to be turned off at 9pm. Do not disturb the nests or nesting turtles. Respect the environment by keeping the level of noise down after 9 pm. A biologist is on site to protect the turtles. A fine may be imposed for a rules infraction and, in that event, the amount will be deducted firm the security deposit.
